Experiential Education Program

The goal of Malvern’s Experiential Education Program is to build opportunities for students to become involved in real-world learning. The program is based on integrating the learning from our curriculum into experiences outside of the classroom. Students will apply what they learn in class to real-world situations, strengthening their skills and learning valuable information about them.

Understanding our own strengths and weaknesses and using that information in a collaborative effort is an invaluable experience for the future of Malvern’s young men. Our hope in providing a good program is that students will experience student-centered learning in a new and different way and begin thinking about the direction they may want to take in their college pursuits and future career interests.

We want our students to attack social issues with their own thoughts and ideas to come up with a different, more creative solution. They may not succeed on their first try, but from this, we hope our students will regroup, rebuild and try again with the help of teachers, mentors and their peers.
