Malvern Magazine: Spring 2016

Malvern Magazine tells the remarkable stories of the Malvern Prep community. This issue focuses on Malvern's alumni, student and faculty inventors - they are real-life superheroes who create with others in mind, striving each day to do good in the world. Also in this issue: an in-depth and heart-wrenching story about suicide among young people, written by the editor of the student newspaper; a profile of one alumnus' unique way of giving back through sharing his love of triathlon; a story of one alumnus' journey to Malvern from Cuba as young student and his return to campus 73 years later. All this in more in the Spring 2016 issue.

Malvern Magazine: Fall 2015

This issue is jam-packed with remarkable stories of the Malvern community, including: the story of Bill Kuharich '71, who wants to honor his father and other mentors in his life with a unique scholarship at Malvern; a tale of compassion, unity and acceptance on campus sparked by the Malvern Theatre Society's production of The Laramie Project; a piece about Malvern's ongoing curricular improvements, beginning with the forward-thinking Middle School; a profile of Malvern's new Sailing program; and an interview with a graduate who gave Notre Dame's commencement invocation and is now teaching in their ACE program. Malvern Magazine: Winter 2014

This issue of Malvern Magazine tells the stories of Ryan Nassib '08 and Jimmy White '09, two typical Malvern men starting out in anything but typical careers. Also in this issue read the heartbreaking and ultimately heartwarming story of Adams Daramy '13 who reunited with his mother at Commencement after 12 years. Malvern forges ahead in its pursuit of student-centered learning with the creation of a new Learning Commons and the expansion of the Chapel. The Black Friar Chronicle and The Friar’s Lantern

The Black Friar Chronicle is Malvern's monthly student-produced, student-managed school paper. The Friar's Lantern is a student-managed blog that features student news and opinions.  Students are involved in writing, photography, layout and distribution.


, Malvern's literary magazine, is a look into the creative soul of our students. Congratulations to the 2016 editorial team of Zach DeStefano, Jack McClatchy, John Connors, Steven O'Meara, Dylan Tran and Baily Meyer, and faculty advisor Sue Giordani.
